Can I Paste Tags 3 Times In Description?

I seen woodysgamertag do it all the time. Are we allowed to paste our tags the exact same tags in the video that are used 3 times in the description? Please let me know!

Why not? They're your tags lol. I'm not sure why 3 times is necessary but adding your tags to the description is not a bad idea, as it's part of the search algorithm.

xD But ye, all jokes aside (assuming you were serious as well ) no, you can't get a strike for posting your own tags in your description (or anything like that).
Ideally it should be best if you max out your description in terms of characters. I find that far too messy and distracting, so I simply type out a paragraph on what the video's about. Not sure if YouTube measure keyword frequency, so no clue if "pasting it 3 times" will have any effect, but I wouldn't personally do it.

That isn't spam. That is just adding extra tags.

AFAIK, YouTube will just consider duplicate tags as 1 tag, so no point.
