Posting Videos Everywhere...

The one thing that gets to me a little about this forum. People just spewing videos up left, right and center and expecting people to view them without any issues.

A lot do, fair play to them, they want to help smaller channels by giving helpful tips and occasionally giving a Sub in the process! I don't think any less of anyone who does so. Just so we're all clear on that!

I'd be happy to join that group of people and give tips and such. But I don't.. I don't because I'd rather see the community as a whole grow and learn from people instead of someone coming on to promote themselves and then f*cking off and waiting for the views to roll in.

This is why I attack (If you can even call it that) people who haven't posted prior to the promoting topic or people who may have posted a few times before but just gave a generic sentence explaining themselves.. 'Hi, I'm _____ and I would love it if you checked out my channel! (_____) I post _____, ______ and ______.' <- That is what annoys me. If you can explain that you play a few less than Unique games (Minecraft/CoD) why can't you tell us what is unique about your channels? If you can't tell us, then your channel probably isn't ready to 'hit the big time' yet and you should look further into what you are doing with it.. (Eg. Finding something about yourself that could draw in people to your videos..)

For examples of unique personalities look at the likes of Chuggaaconroy (Lovable Nerd), xcalizorz ('Badass' Perfectionist), TheSyndicateProject (Constantly Hyper!) or even Seananners (Calm as they get!) These are people who have found 'fame' via YouTube and are normally one of the first few that comes to mind when it comes to their respective videos. They're also the kind of people who have the closest knit Subs who are happy to have decent conversations! (With the occasional Troll..)

I know how appealing just posting a link and one line of text can be due to the simplicity, but please if you have managed to read this entire blog, give us a reason to visit your channel and I can almost guarantee you will be met with some success!
